Move around the canvas

Pan, zoom, and return to the part of your plan you want to work on.

The canvas is the center of your Klora plan. You can move across a large property, zoom in for precise drawing, and return to the full plan without changing the design itself.

Pan with a mouse or trackpad

Scroll to move across the canvas. Hold Shift while scrolling to move horizontally.

You can also hold Space and drag. Space-and-drag works even while a drawing tool is active, then returns you to that tool when you release the key.

A middle-button drag also pans the canvas.

Zoom in or out

Hold Command on a Mac or Ctrl on Windows and scroll to zoom at the pointer. A trackpad pinch uses the same zoom behavior.

You can also use the minus, percentage, and plus controls in the lower-left corner of the canvas.

Return to a useful view

Open the percentage menu in the zoom controls to fit the plan to the window or return to actual size.

The keyboard shortcuts are:

  • Command + 0 or Ctrl + 0 to zoom to fit
  • Command + 1 or Ctrl + 1 for actual size
  • Command + + or Ctrl + + to zoom in
  • Command + - or Ctrl + - to zoom out

On a phone or tablet, use two fingers to move around the plan and pinch to zoom. A two-finger gesture controls the camera rather than the shape beneath it.

You do not need to abandon a shape to inspect another part of the plan. Hold Space and drag to pan, then continue drawing when you release it.

If the current shape is wrong, press Backspace to remove its latest point. Press Esc to cancel the current drawing and return to Select.

On touch devices, use the visible Undo control to remove the latest point while drawing.

Scrolling moves the plan instead of zooming

Bare scrolling pans the canvas. Hold Command or Ctrl while scrolling, pinch on a trackpad, or use the zoom controls.

The plan disappeared

Use zoom to fit from the percentage menu, or press Command + 0 on a Mac or Ctrl + 0 on Windows.

Dragging the empty canvas selects plants

An ordinary drag on empty canvas starts a selection box. Scroll, hold Space and drag, or use a middle-button drag when you want to pan.
